This area was originally the sea, but after the adjacent US military airfield was returned to Japan in 1981, land reclamation and development progressed. Full-scale construction work began in 1997, and the facility that would become the current American Village opened the following year. As its name suggests, Mihama American Village recreates an American townscape. At the beginning of the show, three people appeared - "Fake Ultraman," "Ali Mefilas," and "Nonmalt" - with the Ferris wheel, the symbol of the town, in the background. As his name suggests, "Fake Ultraman" was a fake Ultraman, "Ali Mefilas" was an intelligent monster and so he mainly made jokes, while "Nonmalt" played the role of a victim, having had his home taken by humans in the past.
