The "water buns" are very popular for their chewy and soft texture, and the "sannin poems" rich in the aroma of sannin (shell ginger) are very popular souvenirs! We look forward to serving you with a wide variety of Western & Japanese cakes. In Okinawa, the moonflower, called sannin, has long been carefully planted in and around family fields, and in early spring every household has the custom of steaming and eating rice cakes wrapped in its leaves. It is said that sannin has medicinal effects and contributes greatly to longevity in Okinawa. In 1993, the Chatan Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry developed sannin products under the "Local Resources Investigation Project for Village Revitalization" and they were well received at the "Nippon Zenkoku Muraokoshi Exhibition". We also won the Gold Prize at the 22nd National Confectionary Exposition.
